The first thing you see is  smoke rising horizontally in an upwards direction, smoke connotates danger and something you would associate with a fire,  this will have an instant negative effect on the audience and also uneasy as they can't see what is behind the smoke.  The smoke then eventually clears and you are able to see a Taxi drive through the smoke,
